| Details: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Contribute to operational success through mine roof mapping and ground support verification to insure safety for all underground mine personnel. Responsible for planning and updating the long term mine plan.Safety All areas of the Mine Act and Pennsylvania state standards must be monitored for compliance in the mine planning process. No exceptions can be made in operational practices or compliance to these standards. Inspection of roof conditions must be thorough and consistent to insure all hazards are identified.  Engineering Work with mine supervisors and mine geologist to clearly define the mine objectives.  Develop long and short term mine plans. Submit project status reports identifying projects and critical project paths. Develop plan for compliance with roof control and roof bolting standards. Map underground geological structures. Organize and maintain engineering document files. Develop relationship with internal engineering support and outside consultants to optimize engineering practices. | ||||
